Something about that phrase and singing is comforting, especially given everything that’s going on. These types of shows aren’t going to be everyone’s cup of tea, but they can have many golden moments that remind us how human we are. I love this community and want to see it thrive with positive emotions. Because something like this actually has some meaningful things to say. We’re not in the fucking 30s.”. Had me so emotional (baby!). I am worried that we are feeding our community's negative spiral. In my mind I def lump PA into the northeast and the oversimplification that northeast = liberal, New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast, More posts from the rupaulsdragrace community. I am worried about the patterns I have seen it going through. I'll make sure to pass this small piece of joy onwards, so as to make some else's day better the same way you did to mine. I like it. I know a lot of people are going to say that it’s just another Queer Eye, and it’s hard to not see the similarities in tone and delivery, but give it a chance anyway. Colored is inappropriate to be honest.
We're here becauase we're here because we're here My country woke up on a Sunday morning and found itself in a war. TBH if I had a falling out with my mom and had to move in with my dad, and she tried to apologize by doing a drag performance with Eureka O’Hara on national television I’d be pissed as hell. I really liked it overall. We're here for you and if your bridge is scary you can hold onto this community.
The power that drag has goes beyond Drag Race and i'd much rather see queens use their platform to inspire people with drag in this way than like... do nothing but go on the Werq The World Tour every year for the rest of their days. DFTBA! I honestly think there was way more going on between Eureka’s daughter and her daughter than just the bi thing.
..we're here because (we're a community that supports each other) we're here because we're here because.. I think this is why most of my faults with the show are editing and storylines.
The circles represent people who have died from covid-19 in the US, and the "We're here because we're here" was sung by soldiers about to die in the Somme about the futility of life - These are incredibly sad and disheartening things to be focusing on.
It was an amazing episode. Guess who didn’t want to cry tonight?
Beautiful comments like these remind me to be awesome. I'm watching it now and I love it but I'm a bit biased cause I love anything with Bob. I’m guaranteed to always love anything Bob’s in. Press J to jump to the feed. HBO has some damn good talent behind the scenes that know how to pull heartstrings in a real way. I think she has a gift for connecting with people (they all do tbh). Glad to be here with other Nerdfighters :), I really love this. I write acronyms on my hand/arm to remind me of the things I need to be thinking about... we are here, because we are here. I believe that this pattern of everyone copying circles on paper, and lately writing 'we're here because we're here...' leads to mass obsessional behavior or mass depressive episodes. (This is just my opinion, but something I am genuinely very worried about. I’ve been considering getting a quote tattoo and this is now causing me to reconsider . Do you have what it takes? Tbh would love to see it!
The power of HBO. I read that chapter yesterday. Eureka was fun and likable.
That seemed like a toxic household in general.
Only those with Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve and Talent will make it to the top! Shangie’s moment with Hunter’s dad in the bar was really sweet. It’s a shame, because I really loved Darrylina and Hunter.
Me, bitch. We're here because.. we're here because.. we're here because we're here.. because we're here because we're here. Good for you for finding ways to cope. Her lil’ town doesn’t deserve her fashions. Cheers!
Cookies help us deliver our Services. Guess who’s crying anyways? But it didn’t look like the show pushed the reunion / pushed her daughter to forgive as heavily as I feared they might.
Shangela on Hunter’s dad’s bike! Also, I know I accidently skipped one of the words, but I hope that that fact will remind me to love what I do, even on the bad days. )I would very much like to hear from people with actual PhDs [not just reddit's Dunning–Kruger effect] to enlighten me about whether my fears are mistaken, or what we should do moving forward. They could have done more with the Darrylina’s story. I was pleasantly surprised to find myself enjoying her. Press question mark to learn the rest of the keyboard shortcuts. Agreed with someone else’s sentiment that it would’ve been great to see the Admission Director’s story a bit more. Its from book 'Turtles all the way down'. That poor girl was clearly deeply wounded and deserves access to therapy, not to be paraded around on a tv show for the emotional moment. (This is my first time getting awards on Reddit.) "The only way out is through, and the only way through, is together".
It felt very manipulative and self centered on her part.

I can say that aside from Pittsburgh and Philly, PA is veeery redneck. And that pompadour Daddy was sporting? Dedicated to everyone's favorite drag queen tv show. I recommend the book. We’re not in the fucking 30s.”
I'm new here, what is this referencing? “You literally think 50% of the people in this city is gay?” “You can’t say colored [person.] The mom seems to have found a lot of ways to make her daughter’s sexuality about Erica, not Haley. The Gettysburg area especially because of its Civil War history, there are way too many confederate flags and statues to just be “honoring history”! Colored is inappropriate to be honest. Wow is a baby production company and they don’t have the history of talent and failure and successes. Loved it. I think people are just finding ways to cope in this fucked up time we find ourselves in, More posts from the nerdfighters community. As someone who grew up in the Gettysburg area (even did theatre with Hunter!)
I know he was trying hard to understand what it was like to be an “other” through a different perspective than his own, and I think he was really pushing it in a way that wasn’t tone deaf, but beautiful, because the elephant in the room was that the town was very white vs simply hetero. I actually just shared this video. I cried several times because of Shangela’s impacts. Thank you for having such a kind soul. I liked it a lot. SOMEONE GET THIS GIRL SOME WIGS TO KEEP! I hope they work it out.
I wish we’d seen more of Darryl’s story but I loved his lip sync with Bob and the song choice. Start your engines...and may the best woman win! I’m gonna keep watching the show of course, but I hope they choose their contestants more carefully. So glad to see this show getting really good reviews from the critics and viewers alike! Bob is my fave, but I felt like she and her fabulous daughter got short shrift on this episode.
I was pleasantly surprised to find myself enjoying her. Maybe cause they're in Gettysburg in particular and they have history with the Civil War.
“You literally think 50% of the people in this city is gay?” “You can’t say colored [person.] Eureka was fun and likable.
I had the same reservations about Erica’s storyline. I felt for her and it was really heartening to see her change, but I wouldn’t be comfortable with the idea of forcing some kind of reunion with her daughter, especially since we have no idea what happened in that family behind closed doors and were mostly getting one side of the story.
