Go through the door downstairs. Feed each of them a few bombs to defeat them. The blue bricks on the floor should be raised. Unlock the block and head up a screen. Exit this enclosed area in front of Catfish's Maw by diving down into the bubbles and making your way through the underwater section. It will activate the statue. At any point you can return to this cave and purchase the Shovel back from the Goriya for 300 rupees. Follow the walkway into a room.
